CenturyLink Telco Colocation - V3.0

Product Description

CenturyLink Telco Colocation service offers you, as a CenturyLink Internet Protocol (IP) or transport customer, the option to lease space in a CenturyLink point of presence (POP) or certain remote Colocation sites or Colocation hotels. Telco Colocation is not offered in CenturyLink Company facilities or regulated central offices. CenturyLink provides provisioned telecom space and DC power adapted specifically for telecom equipment. CenturyLink provides Telco Colocation as a bundled service available only as an enhancement to our IP and transport offerings.

With CenturyLink™ Telco Colocation, you have access to the CenturyLink transport backbone and services, eliminating local connection charges between you and your backbone provider, resulting in substantial cost savings for most customers. When coupled with necessary CenturyLink transport, Colocation provides secure, high speed access at a DS-3, OC-3 or higher rate without incurring the cost of leased lines to get to the POP. In addition for facility based providers, the ability to lease vs. build conditioned telecom space that is pre-provisioned results in cost savings and speed to market.
